METALLICA | ALL BLACK

Lost Frequencies feat. Janieck Devy - Reality

All black, as per usual.
It was perfect weather today in Aberdeen for pictures. I've been here for two weeks, and although it is a small place, I have been finding many interesting spots perfect for pictures. This spot was in a park just a few minutes walk from where I am staying. It has a dark feel, which went well with my 'edgier' look today.
I am wearing my new band t-shirt (Metallica), which was found in the Topshop "vintage" collection. I never even knew that there was a vintage collection in Topshop until recently, and I love it. I am also wearing my new leather jacket from H&M purchased in London. It is my favorite piece so far. Perfect to wear with anything, especially this time of year.

LONDON CALLING

LILLY ALLEN- CHINESE

Before school starts, I decided to take a mini trip to London, because... why not? :) Although it was a mini trip, it definitely took a long time to get to London and back. With bus commutes, airplanes, and walking for hours we finally made it to London. The trip back however was complete hell, and resulted in a 17 hour trip back, which should have been no more than a 4 hour trip.
I was only in London for two full days, but I definitely want to go back before it's time to leave for Canada again. Two days in London wasn't enough, however I was able to see some amazing things, and am so grateful that I had the opportunity to do so. To my surprise, the weather was perfect. It rained for ten minutes one day, and the rest was sunshine. I always hear how rainy the UK is, but with my experience so far, I have to disagree.
I stayed right in Holland Park while in London, which was no more then a fifteen minute walk to Nottting Hill. The buildings around this area were so colorful and full of life. I  was like a little girl on Christmas every time I saw a brightly colored apartment building.
The shopping in London was my favorite. Oxford street can't be beat.  I tried not to spend tooooo much ;) If I had all the time in the world, I would definitely spend a full day just walking along Oxford. So many stores to see, many of them that can't be found in Canada!
Here are just a small amount of pictures from my trip to London.

DUNNOTTAR CASTLE | 09.17.15

While in Aberdeen, waiting for school to begin, I had an amazing opportunity to visit an amazing castle just a little under an hour from where I live in Aberdeen. Dunnottar is a ruined medival fortress. Along with the beautiful ruins, the location is amazing. It was like something out of a movie; completely breathtaking.
I have been in Scotland for just under a week now. Thankfully, I have only experienced rainy weather once or twice, which I think is rather good for Scotland. This makes adventures to castles & grocery stores rather pleasant lol.
Here are just a few pictures of Dunnottar Castle, but the photos do not do justice. This is something one really needs to experience with their own eyes, and I am so thankful that I was able to do so!
