SCOTLAND | STUDYING ABROAD

After months and months of anticipation, I finally received the news that I will be studying abroad for a semester in Scotland. Zav and I have already begun our research on which places to visit while we are down there, and cheapest alternatives to get from one place to the next. So far, we have decided on visiting London, Paris, Barcelona, and a few places in Italy, and of course, our home for those four months, Scotland. If anyone has any suggestions on things to do, places to see, and where to eat, comment below. All I know for sure is that this experience will consist of many of pictures, a lot of food, and definitely tons of shopping... as well as studying :)

This is literally my dream come true. I just cannot wait to finally have something to look forward to again. Exams are over, which means that I will be spending all my free time researching. The rest of the time I will be working in order to make money so I don't have to be so much in debt when I get back :p.

Traveling, like I've always said, is essential. Traveling is the only thing you can spend money on, that will make you richer in the end. I know that through this experience, I will gain so much knowledge, and find a lot out about myself. This can only benefit me in every way possible... sure I will be poor when I get back, but I will always end up making the money back in the end.

I am most excited for the adventure. There will be a lot of spontaneous moves throughout the four months, but what I am most happy about is that getting from one place to the next is relatively fast and cheap, meaning we will be traveling about frequently. Every single place has its own unique experience. In Paris, we can grab a delicious crepe off a street vendor right beside the Eiffel Tower. In Italy, we can enjoy fresh made gelato while sitting near the Trevi fountain. These are a bunch of things that many people are not able to experience, which makes me 10x more grateful that I have the opportunity to do this.  I still am in awe, I don't even feel like it is real. As each day passes, that means one day closer until we leave. This will definitely be an experience of a life time, and I can't wait to share it with you all.

LEATHER X PLAID

The weather is finally starting to warm up. Today, I only needed a leather jacket to wear outside, and even then I was still warm. This is just a casual outfit that I put together in about five minutes while getting ready for my last 8am lecture.  I can't wait to start blogging again, and I don't mean using photos behind a white wall at work, I mean going outside, to random places, and just taking a million pictures. It has been a while. definitely, but I am starting up again once all my exams are done and I am worry free. Details about the outfit are below :)

04.16.15

I feel truly blessed to have such amazing people in my life. My three best friends have literally been there for everything, and are the reason I am the way I am today. We have been through countless heartbreaks, and an uncontrollable amount of laughter. I could not have asked for any better, they are truly irreplaceable. While two are still away at school, I am counting down the days until they are home and we can all be reunited & start having the best summer of our lives. This post is with me and my 'bffl for life' Alexis. I loved these pictures we took a few nights ago so much... truly shows our friendship and the fact that we kept trying to take cliché friendship pictures. I always loved the line in sex and the city that says " Maybe our girlfriends are our soulmates and guys are just people to have fun with.” After finding these three, I definitely believe it.

APRIL INSPO

Kidnap Kid- Like You Used To

Procrastinating, just a little. Exams are coming up, and school is coming to an end, which means, summer is finally starting. This summer, I have a feeling will be the best time of my life. I am still waiting to hear about studying abroad, but I am starting to have a good feeling about it all. Either I will be studying in Scotland (first option), or now the Netherlands, which is an option that has just come to my attention. Either way, it will be amazing. If for whatever reason, Zav and I don't get in, we are planning a little getaway to Europe. Traveling is something you need to do when you are young, and this summer is really my only opportunity before 'real life' kicks in. Things are moving so fast, but I am beyond excited. All I can think of is all the amazing things I will experience beginning next month really, however, my mind should be focused on studying. From road trips, to the beach, or just long night walks, I'll be doing it all, hopefully both in Canada and in Europe. I have not posted in a while, but I assure you, when school is done, there will be more. I am teaming up with a couple people from work, and we are going to shoot whenever possible. Material is definitely needed, and I will be posting all of it as soon as we start.  For now, I leave you with inspiration posts that will hopefully get you just as excited for summer as I am. Enjoy :)
