SPORTY | BROOKYLN

Ready to go - Martin Solveig ft. Kele

Spring has arrived, finally! This means, it is time to take out the jean jacket, and put away the heavy parka. I don't know about you, but jean jackets are my absolute favorite! Since it was Friday when these pictures were taken, I was feeling a little lazy, hence the track pants and sweater. The end of school is approaching quickly which means, lots of assignments, (and much more stress), resulting in the lack of a nice wardrobe. However, style is also about how comfortable you are in what you wear, and lets just say I was more than comfortable in this outfit. The shoes in this post were purchased when I was downtown for fashion week, as seen in my previous post. I saw them in H&M and immediately fell in love. Simple, Comfortable, and of course, black. What is better than that? They go perfectly with a pair of track pants, or even with skinny jeans. Many people also style sneakers with skirts and shorts; in the summer I will try this out. My favorite thing about these pictures is the sun. It is making my hair look blonder rather than ginger-ish. I am welcoming Spring with open arms! I can't wait to finally post pictures in outfits that don't include a jacket and boots.

World Master Card Fashion Week- TORONTO

The Zolas- Invisible

Instagram
This week is all about fashion. In our city Toronto, fashion week is here. Although we were still unable to get in (till next season!), we had the opportunity to see models getting prepped for the show, and other bloggers like ourselves take pictures and go inside. Prior to the show, we went shopping and found some really great stuff. The H&M on queen street in Toronto has my heart.  It is so big, and has such amazing things. Due to the shopping, we were a bit late, so we didn't see much. However, what we did was great. I really enjoyed the environment, and how fashionable everyone looked.
I saw a blogger who really stood out. He wore all black, but his Nike air max shoes were lime green. Not many people can pull that off, but he did!
We decided that since we were downtown and the weather was beautiful ( a little chilly, but felt like summer due to the horrible winter we had), we should take some street shots. It was the perfect opportunity to do so, and we needed a change of scenery  since we usually post pictures in the same general area. Here, I am wearing a Zara blazer, and the famous Zara skort. This is probably my favorite combo for an outfit.
