Took a comfortable approach today. I've seen the style of overalls and baggy knit sweaters everywhere this season and decided to give it a try. Definitely one of my comfiest outfits yet. The whole outfit is from New Look... will definitely miss this store when I head back to Canada... taking full advantage of it now :) more on www.adventurewithjules.wordpress.com
Found another way to style my long poplin dress shirt from Zara. Absolutely love the way it is visible in the back, and not the front. The slit down the middle gives it the perfect look. It was a little cold today in Aberdeen, so layering was a must. I had a fall type feel from head to ankle, however my shoes resemble somewhat of the summer. Cheetah print can look really nice (when not over done). I feel that a print like this should be included only when minimal colours are involved. This way, it is a bold statement piece, and dresses the outfit together perfectly. The shoes add a bit of colour and fun to my outfit today, and I can't wait to dress them up with other things.. especially come summer :)
Felt just like fall today in Aberdeen. This is my second fall look for my school blog. Simple black and white outfit, and a very minimal look. Outfit details are below. Post is also on www.adventurewithjules.wordpress.com which you can also find in my pages. :)
Took a mini vacation this weekend to a popular spot in Scotland; Edinburgh. Everything about this city was beautiful. The three hour bus ride was totally worth it. Edinburgh was the main inspiration for Harry Potter, as well as where the first book was written, so most of the city has similar characteristics to the movie. We were lucky enough to have a hostel right outside of the castle, so every morning before we went out, we were able to have a breathtaking view. Another place we ventured up to that had a spectacular view was Arthur's Seat. It was about an hour to get up to the peak, and one of the hardest things I had to do (I'm still in pain), but it was well worth the journey. Most of the pictures are posted.
