Someday- The Strokes
As the weather is warming up, I have been creating summer outfits in my mind. Today, while I have the morning off of work, I have finally set a few of them out. Just yesterday, I purchased the new leopard print slip-ons from Topshop. I already have sandals with this print, also from Topshop, but I am so in love with them, I decided to buy these ones too. They are the perfect shoe for summer/fall, and also go well with any simple outfit. Before I buy anything, I always picture the piece with outfits, and if it will go well with what I have in my wardrobe. Clearly, they fit right in. I made outfits today based on how I would be wearing these shoes. As you can see, it will be styled with a lot of neutral colours, mostly black, because that is usually all I wear. I personally will style these with boyfriend jeans & jean skirts, just like I've posted below, but they can go with pretty much anything. The trends for this season I have noticed is all about the high-waisted shorts, flared bottoms, and distressed jeans. Perfect for summer weather, and perfect pieces to match up with slip-ons such as these.
I must admit, as a bought the shoes, I also picture myself roaming the streets of Europe come September, and how I will definitely be wearing these. As the summer continues, I will be posting more outfits, and of course, street-style photos that I will start shooting come this week or next. :)
